Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Kinetic Inductance Detectors (KID) are the superconducting detectors that detect the deposited energy by sensing the change of the kinetic inductance caused by the Cooper-pair breakings. By forming LC resonance circuits with a thin superconductor layer, we can readout the detector with frequency-domain multiplexing that enables us to construct a large scale detector. We report on the status of the development of KID for the detections of phonons from the substrate and visible photons, and a readout system for the applications to a search for light dark matter and a large acceptance X-ray detector. |
