Abstract(in English) Digital beam forming array antenna (DBF antenna) has been many studied, because this antenna has excellent flexibility for beam shaping function. We have conducted research and development of the DBF antenna of satellite antenna for STICS (Satellite/Terrestrial Integrated Mobile Communications System). Digital beam former and digital channelizer (DBF/DC) was developed for this system. We recognized that the quantization bit number of DBF/DC affects the radiation pattern measurement results of array antenna. In this paper, we summarize the experiment and discuss the influence of quantization bit number of A/D converter for DBF antenna pattern measurement.
