Abstract(in English) This paper presents a method to interpolate propagation channel statistics stored as fingerprints in a database for localization. The proposed interpolation method consists of interpolation in the bandwidth, frequency and spatial domains. The interpolated fingerprint database may be employed to identify illegal radio emitters in generally non-line-of-sight urban environments by introducing a multi-sensor system. A simple localization algorithm is also introduced in this paper, and the proposed method is evaluated through Monte Carlo simulations using location fingerprints obtained from ray-tracing simulations. Results show that using an interpolated fingerprint database may improve localization accuracy.
