Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have studied to use intra-palm propagation signals in person authentication. In this paper, we introduce multivariate analysis into the authentication using intra-palm propagation signals to improve the veriacation performance. Concretely, principal component analysis and discriminant analysis are evaluated. As a result, the use of the principal component analysis reduces the number of dimensions in an individual feature, and the improvement of verification performance is achieved by introducing discriminant analysis.
