Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Superconducting strip-line detectors (SSLDs) have a special feature of high spatial resolution. We have proposed a current-biased kinetic inductance detector (CB-KID) by modifying the structure of the conventional superconducting strip-line detectors. The CB-KID acquires a high-speed response. We are developing a monolithic image sensor chip composed of a linear array of CB-KIDs and readout circuits including multiplexers. We have measured optical response of serially connected 500 SSLDs in the image sensor chop. The optical response has been obtained over 1-cm-length. This confirms that the multiple detectors can be driven by a single dc bias current and that the wide-area detectors can be achieved.
