Abstract(in English) | We synthesized new organic compound by introducing appropriate substituents to anthracene and found that the obtained anthracene derivative showed photoinduced phase change between crystalline and solid-state amorphous phases. Using this compound, we successfully demonstrated reversible optical data storage. In addition, a polymer derived from the compound enabled us to perform gray scale photo patterning. We also realized optical data storage using composite material consisting of the anthracene compound and another polymer. |
