Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The application of UHF radio-frequency identification (RFID) systems is rapidly increasing. Especially, the UHF-RFID system is being used for the apparel business not only to inspect commodities but also to confirm receiving or sending of merchandises and to speed up the checkout work. However, the reliability of indoor telecommunication is adversely affected by multiple reflection interference. Consequently, to establish a highly reliable UHF-RFID system, it is essential to improve the multipath environment. This report proposes an identification gate for UHF-RFID system that is designed to improve the multipath environment of UHF-RFID systems. In addition, the transition of the Tag identification fringe area by the adoption of this UHF-RFID gate is also described in this report.
