Abstract(in English) | This paper evaluates transmission performance of a low-priority system with a non-linear distortion noise power control (DNC) method which controls non-linear distortion noise power according to required transmission quality of modulation schemes in cognitive radio systems by OFDM transmission. This DNC method employs the conventional clipping and filtering method, and its clipping level and distortion noise power ratio for filtering are selected so that the required noise power condition on each frequency band is satisfied. Distortion noise power characteristics to clipping levels with the DNC method are evaluated by computer simulations and the set clipping levels and distortion noise power ratios for filtering are determined from these results. The results of spectrum properties and BER performance show that the DNC method can satisfy required transmission quality of modulation schemes on frequency bands used by a low-priority system. |
