Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Carbyne has one-dimensional structure of carbon atom, and it is expected high electrical conductivity and novel physico-chemical property different from carbon nanotubes and graphene. Therefore, it can be considered lots of applications for electronics field like molecular wire, energy storage device and superconductors. However, it cannot be stable cause of its high reactivity so that practical research has not been made yet, in spite of 30 years later than about the present prediction. In this report, focusing on showing excellent stability by carbine is encapsulated in the hollow structure of the carbon nanotubes, we did structural analysis of the carbon nanotubes with carbyne in the hollow core and evaluated as an anode material for lithium ion battery.
