Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We examined the stability of ankle joint moment (AM) and M-wave amplitude evoked by electrical stimulation of the gastrocnemius and soleus muscles. Investigated muscles are the gastrocnemius and soleus muscle. The experimental results of M-wave and AM changed similarly with along stimulation voltage raise. Moderate intensity of electrical stimulation could realize a steady AM in the normal walking obtained by other researchers, and the evoked M-wave showed the same pattern. These results showed that the M-wave was able to estimate a stable AM similar to that observed in normal walking.
