Abstract(in English) We report the condition that the connector and its adapter are damaged. We investigated the splice characteristics of optical connectors for high power transmission when the dust attached to the endface of connectors. We show the relationship between the dust attachment conditions and optical performance. Moreover, we show the relationship between the leak power and the connector adapter temperature when optical connectors have a gap.
