Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Nowadays, multicell lithium-ion batteries are used in electric vehicles, power storage devices, and so on. To use such batteries in a safe and reliable manner, mathematical models for correctly representing dynamics of charge and discharge operation have been developed. It is reported in literature that discharge capacity of a battery is evaluated with an equivalent circuit model. Discharge current of cells in a battery needs more discussion. This report experimentally investigates the equivalent circuit model in terms of discharge current behaviors in a multicell lithium-ion battery. By comparison between the results of measurements and numerical simulations of the model, we show that the equivalent circuit model can reproduce the outlines of discharge current behaviors.
