A combination of centrality measures for the next hop selection in distance vector-based routing

Abstract(in English) This paper deals with a basic model of wireless communication network seen in ad-hoc network, sensor network, mesh network and so on. There the selection of neighboring nodes is fundamental in distance vector-based routing, which we call the next hop selection of neighboring nodes. For balanced routing, we have proposed to select the next hop that provides the least centrality measurement obtained from local graphs. So far we have dealt with single centrality measure for such next hop and shown that betweenness centrality measure outperforms other centrality measures. This paper relaxes such single condition. That is, we combine centrality measures for the next hop selection and compare betweenness centrality alone. By simulation experiments of 100 nodes, we can see that bewteenness centrality does not always provide the minimum of the maximum node relay numbers. That is, some examples show that combined centrality measures relating to betweenness provides better results. This means that betweenness centrality itself still has room to improve.
