Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In in-vehicle networks, reducing the wiring harness and gateways provides us a light vehicle weight and a large in-vehicle space. On the other hand, with the diversification of in-vehicle networked applications, one should develop communication technologies to achieve high rate and accommodate a large number of networked electronic control units (ECUs). In this manuscript, to meet the conflicting requirements of harness simplication and rate/capacity enhancement, we discuss communication technologies to accommodate a variety of in-vehicle applications over hybrid network topology with bus and passive star.
