Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, we consider wireless packet collision detection methods at the transmitter for wireless local area network systems. In the proposed method, a node transmits and receives signals simultaneously, and suppresses the components of his own transmitted signal, namely, self-interference, from the received signal by using a canceller. In the proposed method, since the received self-interference power is far greater than that of the collision packet in general, an antenna array is introduced in order to compensate the SNR degradation due to quantization noise. Since the effect of the quantization noise is significantly different to each antenna element, we derive the array weights by taking into account such difference. The performance of the proposed methods are demonstrated via numerical simulations using experimental measurement data in an indoor environment.
