Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) IEEE802.11e realizes QoS control by classifying packets into four access categories, storing them for transmission queue, and transmitting them depending on the priority of each access category. However, there is deterioration problem of communication quality if traffic increases in high priority levels. As opposed to this problem, we proposed a improvement method in communication quality by dynamically changing the size of each buffer by the resource redistribution depending on the utilization of the transmission buffer of each access category, the controllable parameter value for EDCA. However, when networks are congested, an effect of the proposed method is small. In this paper, we realize congestion control of Wireless LAN by using admission control technology. We also evaluate the validity of the proposed QoS control method by simulations.
