| 抄録(和) | 本研究では,注視中に生じる不随意性の固視微動に及ぼす注意の影響を定量的に評価することを目的として,注視を維持した状態で注意の集中度を制御する実験を実施し,このとき計測された固視微動データに対して,マイクロサッカードの検出およびドリフト眼球運動を抽出するための汎用的な信号処理アルゴリズムを提案するとともに,マイクロサッカードの発生頻度とドリフト眼球運動の動的特性を解析した.解析の結果,マイクロサッカードの発生は高い集中が要求されるほど強く抑制され,その潜時分布は双峰性となることが示された.このことから,注意の集中時にはマイクロサッカードが持続的に抑制され,注意の開放に伴って抑制から脱している可能性が示された.一方,ドリフト眼球運動は注視点近傍における局所的な注意の統制による影響を受けておらず,周辺視野に注意が誘導された場合に揺らぎの性質が変動することが明らかとなり,ドリフト眼球運動が視知覚の形成に関与していることが示唆された. |
| 抄録(英) | The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of visual attention on the dynamics of fixation eye movements objectively. We carried out experiments which control the subjects' focal attention. A signal processing method was proposed to separate microsaccades and drift eye movements from fixation eye movements, and compared the properties of microsaccade rate and dynamics of drift eye movements among the conditions of atten-tional intensities. The results show that the microsaccade rate was suppressed and the histogram of latencies of microsaccades have two peaks when higher concentration was required. These results suggest that microsaccades are inhibited when attention is concentrated in foveal region, and disinhibited when attention is disengaged. On the other hand, drift eye movements were not influenced by the foveal attention allocation, rather affected by dif-fusing attention to the peripheral visual field, indicating that drift eye movements might be involved in the visual perception. |
