| Abstract(in English) | It is well known that pupil size changes with the change of emotional state. However, it is not clear whether we can estimate the emotional state of others when observing the dynamic changes in pupil size of others. In this research, we tested this possibility. The results showed that observers could estimate the arousal state to some extent from the characteristics of the dynamic changes in pupil size. Specifically, they seemed to perceive others to be excited when the variance and absolute value of the dynamic change in pupil size were large. |
