Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As security requirements of fail-stop signature (FSS) schemes, non-repudiability and unforgeability are required. In this paper, it is considered that FSS schemes are used in the environment where adversaries have huge (exponentially increasing) computational power. However, FSS schemes cannot satisfy non-repudiability in that environment, so an FSS scheme with a Trusted Third Party (TTP) is proposed as a system where it is not supposed that the signer trys to repudiate his signature. In order to use this scheme widely, it is discussed whether security is preserved even when an FSS scheme with a TTP is used as a sub-protocol in a larger system. That is, UC-security (Universally Composable Security) of an FSS scheme with a TTP is considered. In this discussion, an oracle is used to represent an adversary with huge (exponentially increasing) computational power. Then, it is shown that an FSS scheme with a TTP satisfies the UC-security with some conditions.
