Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we considered a brain-computer interface (BCI) based on P300 event-related potentials elicited by auditory stimuli. We took up synthetic sound as auditory stimuli that users could directly select, and we examined another stimulation approach using a standard stimulus in order to facilitate selection. We performed experiments using white noise as the standard stimulus to observe the effect on the latency and amplitude of the P300 component.
