Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We are engaged in Extensive Reading using SSS method as a part of English language education curriculum at Shinshu University, and performing development and employment of the Extensive Reading Support System. Based on this employment it was found that learners dose not select suitable books for extensive reading. In this paper, we propose an e-book reader with automatic measurement of WPM. This system enables exact measurement of reading speed, and judged whether selection of the suitable book has been performed.
