Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | For the robot in the future, as a human partner, how to earn the trust of the user is getting important. The robot should be a good listener and a good talker. The robot is required to be capable to interact along the nature and circumstances of the user. There is a social style theory as a strategy for facilitating interaction between humans. Social style theory is used to divide people into four types of human nature, to perform service in accordance with its type. By applying this theory, we propose a robot dialogue strategy that allows a flexible approach to suit the situation and the nature of the user. Then, we describe the experimental results of applying the proposed dialogue strategy for the cooking support system. |
