Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Many recipe search engine sites exist in recent years, and various services are provided in our daily lives. However, many of them are based on the premise that users manually input conditions such as foods information and cooking tools, which serves as a burden at the time of a user operating those systems. This paper examines the techniques of identifying cooking tools for the purpose of automatic registration of users' cooking environment, considering that users having mobile terminals with cameras are increasing. To 23 kinds of cooking tools, recognition accuracy was investigated using various features, and it turned out that the features based on local edge are useful for recognizing cooking tools.
