Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) 5G wireless access network realizes a network with higher system performance, which can manage various types of traffic by use of an architecture with a layered structure of different wireless systems. However, the layered structure of different systems has risks of an explosion of the number of control signaling and a lower throughput, if an appropriate management of wireless resources is not applied. A multi-domain radio resource management method is proposed in consideration of the velocities of moving users in order to suppress the number of control signaling and to improve throughput. The evaluation showed that the proposed method can suppress the number of control signaling while improve throughput if an appropriate threshold of velocity is selected.
