Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, much attention has been paid to M2M (Machine to Machine) systems to combat the rapid deterioration of social capital stock and to realize a smart society. They consist of various devices mutually connected by wireless networks and can keep human action to a minimum. Previously, we showed the proposed scheme and basic transmission performance in field experiments. In this report, to setup low consumption routing protocol suitable for the proposed sensor network, we consider impacts of main Ad-hoc routing protocols for power consumption in Relay Nodes. We show the performance of AODV (Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector) and DSDV (Destination Sequenced Distance Vector) protocols for the power consumption in a link direction, the placement of relay nodes, the distance in relay nodes, a protocol type to use by computer simulations.
