Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Japanese has a topic marker wa and a subject marker ga. The sentence which includes one of these particles is written as "a wa A" or "a ga A". 'a' is a topic or subject, and 'A' is a predicate. The sentences "a wa A" and "a ga A" give the information about 'a' . And a human can lean about 'a' from the sentences. The particles wa and ga are symbols which show the relationship between 'a' and ' A'. I explain the relationship clearly and show what information one can get from the sentences in this presentation. I. The sentence "a wa A" shows "a∈{the set of things which A}". And the sentence "a ga A" shows "(the intensity of relationship between 'a' and 'A') > >(the intensity of relationship between the others and 'A')" II. One can get the information for an array by hearing or reading many sentences type "b wa a ga A".
