Abstract(in English) We developed a compact receiver optical sub-assembly (ROSA) for 100 Gigabit Ethernet (100GbE) for the reach of 10 km. By utilizing arrayed waveguide gratings with the output of multi-mode waveguides together with compact integration, high responsivity over 0.7 A/W with flat-top spectrum and minimum receiver sensitivity with the margin of 2 dB were obtained.
