Abstract(in English) In order to realize high-speed and large-capacity transmission systems on information technology, the forum standardization bodies such as IEEE802.3/OIF are discussing the standards on 100G/400G optical transceivers, and also on the related optical and electrical interfaces. The recent topics in those standardization bodies, including 400G, are reviewed, and the technologies to realize the small form factor and low power consumption transceivers, are introduced.
