Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, Doppler radar has been applied to various applications such as detection and classification of indoor human activities as well as detection of an airplane and a vehicle. To improve degree of freedom (DoF) and accuracy of direction of arrival (DOA) estimation, multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar has received much attention in recent years. A research on temporal-spatial virtual array based on Doppler shift is one of researches that propose a method to improve DOA estimation in MIMO radar. However, the estimation accuracy based on this method depends on target velocity and angle, so it varies from hour to hour. In this report, we propose an approach that enables proper arrangement of temporal-spatial virtual array based on adaptive PRI control and demonstrate its effectiveness with simulation results.
