A New Precomputation Method with Perfect Conjugate-Addition Sequence

Abstract(in English) In elliptic curve cryptosystems, a scalar multiplication is the dominant computation. For speeding up elliptic curve cryptosystems, it is indispensable to improve a scalar multiplication. In this study, we propose the new method, called PCAS method, which compute precomputation table of Frac-Window method. The previous work by Longa and Gebotys [4] uses a fast operation called Conjugate Addition to make a precomputation table. Note that this method can compute a precomputation table by only Conjugate Addition if and only if the size of precomputation table is 2^n. we improve this feature PCAS method can compute precomputation table by only Conjugate Addition for any size of precomputation table.
