Abstract(in English) Embedded systems are used for various purposes and are widely prevalent. It turned out that embedded systems for which the security was not assumed before can be attacked and the subsequent damage can be serious, so that the security of embedded systems attracts attention. It was proved that a typical in-car network CAN (Controller Area Network) has vulnerability, and a method of preventing unauthorized data transmission in CAN was proposed. Compared with PC and Internet, more investigation effort is necessary to obtain information about experimental platform of embedded systems and the network. In this manuscript, an experimental platform for CAN, which is built for experiment subject and research project, is introduced and the properties are described. The experimental platform for CAN includes embedded microcontroller development boards and a CAN communication monitor. The boards contain ARM microcontrollers and have support for CAN and other networks. In addition to the basic study of embedded systems programming such as blinking LEDs, timer interrupt, and external interrupt, etc., CAN APIs embedded in ROM can easily be used by referring to sample programs; hence, good effect of education about CAN is expected.
