Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Values of performance parameters are used to evaluate operational performance and operational safety of air traffic control and airborne surveillance applications. It is required to validate the statistical parameters which are representing the reliability of surveillance information such as probability of detection, false detection, integrity, continuity and so on. When the validation is conducted by repeating measurements, the trial count of measurements should be chosen by referring the statistical value to be measured and the level of significance for hypothesis test. In this paper, the trial count for measurement is evaluated with statistical method for the case of comparison of performance of two surveillance systems.
