Abstract(in English) In this paper, we investigated a quality factor of the coplanar waveguide employing periodically arrayed ground structure (PAGS) on silicon substrate. The quality factor was extracted using open stub. According to measured result, the coplanar waveguide employing PAGS showed a quality factor much higher than conventional coplanar waveguide. Concretely, the quality factor of the coplanar waveguide employing PAGS on silicon substrate was 8.87, while the quality factor of the conventional coplanar waveguide on silicon substrate was 2.47.
