Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Although important, education about intellectual property (IP) law is worth few credits in engineering programs because of curriculum limitations. Therefore, a system that allows students to efficiently study on their own is needed. Toward developing such a system, we took video of classroom lectures and used these and the lecture materials to develop an e-Learning system. Since then, some students have used this system. In this paper, we analyze the relation between the frequency of using this system and motivation for learning among students and consider ways to increase students' motivation to learn. Moreover, we analyze students' evaluation of the proposed system, which is based on the attention-relevance-confidence-satisfaction model, and consider potential systems that could increase students' motivation to learn about IP law.
