Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Due to advance in technology, the performance of computer and the amount of data to be processed is increasing. High performance computer systems require high performance networks. Currently, the price of 40G network interface card is reducing and 40G backbone network is available. The demand for 40G network is expected to become higher in the future. However, the performance of data transfer often decreases on 40G network because of TCP congestion control. In this paper, we discuss the problems of TCP congestion control on high bandwidth-delay product networks. Also, we compare the performance of some TCP congestion control algorithms on pseudo high bandwidth-delay product network by using delay simulator.
