Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study we investigated the relationship between required transmitting power for achieving a specified communication performance and SAR. First, we designed the transmitting and receiving antennas used in simulation, and showed their basic performances. Then with them we calculated the path loss of UWB implant communication by electromagnetic field simulation based on anatomical human body numerical model. At BER = 10^<-2>, we derived the required transmitting power and corresponding lOg-averaged peak SAR, and clarified the possibility of a reliable UWB implant communication under SAR safety limits.
