Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) After drastic disasters, such as earthquakes and tsunamis, communications systems can be destroyed while the demand for communication services increases. This leads to congestion in remaining communication systems. Therefore, the networks which are resilience to disasters are gaining much attention. In this paper, we focus on satellite-terrestrial wireless mesh integrated networks that combines satellites networks and Wireless Mesh Networks (WMN). This network makes it possible to provide communications after disaster. In order to utilize the satellite-terrestrial network efficiently, the problem of positioning satellite gateways needs to be addressed. Therefore, we propose a technique for deploying satellite gateways that distribute traffic load.
