Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, new train control systems with the aid of radio communication systems have been developed and put to practical use in the world. It's hoped that these new train control systems will enhance the safety of the railway operation and will help to reduce maintenance cost. This paper outlines various radio communication based train control systems in the world. And this paper also reports development status of a simulation system to support designing a radio communication network system which is intended to use in radio communication based train control system.
