Abstract(in English) We have been studying short range wireless sensor network system which focused on the car engine compartment. In this report, evaluation of the radio wave propagations in the engine compartment and the radio wave propagation to the outside of the vehicle from the engine compartment is described. The bit error rate has been measured at the 2.4GHz band using the FSK modulation to evaluate the quality of the radio transmission in the engine compartment. It was confirmed that there is no deterioration.
