Study of Propagation Channel Fading Prediction Algorithm

Abstract(in English) Propagation channel fading prediction algorithms which are AR Models composed by 1^ and 2^ order differential model with Kalman filtering algorithm are studied in this paper. MIMO propagation channel is generated by using single ring scattering model to analyze the basic characteristics of these prediction techniques and the effect when these prediction techniques are applied to MIMO systems. As a result, it is found that more prediction accuracy can expected at higher channel correlation coefficient condition and 2^ order differential model can improve prediction accuracy about 1 dB in the region more than channel correlation coefficient 0.8 compared with 1^ order differential model. Moreover, the characteristics of MIMO channel capacity when these techniques are applied to MIMO systems are presented and it is shown that the amount of degradation of MIMO channel capacity is increased with increasing of the number of antennas.
