Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Experiment by reconfigurable communication equipment is planned in order to develop the smaller and more efficient satellite unit. This paper applied OFDM technique with our direct-processing modem for high speed satellite communication with WINDS. The OFDM modulation method has high bandwidth efficiency, because the sub-carrier of OFDM signal has orthogonal characteristic with each other. As a result, our modem achieved the two fruits, 3.2Gbps data communication and uncompressed 4K-UHDTV communication with quasi-error free.
