Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have been developing single-chip voltage waveform generators based on single-flux-quantum (SFQ) pulse-frequency modulation (PFM). They comprise an SFQ-PFM digital-to-analog converter integrated with a code generator on the same chip. Code generators are designed for specified waveforms such as a sinusoidal wave and a triangle wave. Although their resolutions at the current moment are limited to 6 bits, operation of several voltage waveform generators has been demonstrated using a niobium SFQ digital technology.
