Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Group connect is a new kind of wireless multiconnect technology where wireless resources of multiple users can be pooled and virtualized. Ability to boost throughput of one member of a group at the expense of others is one of many practical utilities of the technology. This paper shows how a simple smartphone application based on group connect can create a brand new kind of university campus where students get online completely without any network support on the part of the campus itself. Economic benefits from such a technology to the university itself are obvious. |
