Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) OTA (Over-the-Air) measurement, which generates multipath-rich propagation environment around a DUT (Device Under Test), is an effective method for evaluating a MIMO communication terminal in a real communication environment. In the previous report, by incorporating our proposed simplified configuration of fading-emulator-type method called "antenna-branch-controlled type", we described a MIMO fading emulator with 2-stage measurement scheme implemented into an FPGA and showed its basic characteristics. In this report, we show a newly developed MIMO fading emulator with FPGA implementation having functional extension and higher performance.
