ICT for Improvement of the Quality of Nursing Service

Abstract(in English) It is important "to create" high quality nursing and medical service by utilizing actively in nursing fields the information and communication technology which progresses quickly in recent years. However, in clinical nursing jobs, there are few opportunities to consider practical use of ICT as the technique of solving the problems under the present circumstances. So in this paper, in order to consider the information and communication technology as a tool for improving the quality of nursing service, the information policy of the medical treatment of our country is surveyed first. Next, the idea which nursing staffs considered, such as challenges in nursing fields and methods of utilizing ICT to them, is introduced. Finally, the part of the research which the author is tackling is also introduced.
