Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, the high-speed digital communication system has been put to practical use. For the purpose of improving the communication quality, the research on the adaptive array antenna and ESPAR antenna that controls the directivity has been carried out. But for use in small terminal, there is a problem such as the size of the system and increase in the amount of calculation for the directional control. So, in this study, we focus on the effect of mutual coupling and propose the antenna that can select the feed element with the antenna group composed of two or more elements. It is shown to be able to form various directivities easily and at once by changing the feed element and the number of feeding power. Moreover, we consider the generalization of the directivity pattern.
