Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Detect and Forward (DetF) is a relay scheme of multi-hop communications. When relaying data, DetF detects data by hard decision and estimates the amount of errors. Depending on the estimated the amount of errors, the relay node can decide whether it decodes data or not. Thus, designing a good error detection scheme is an issue for DetF. This paper focuses on a modified Ternary PSK (TPSK) using Alternate Mark Inversion (AMI) code which can estimate the amount of errors easily and compares this error detection codes with Binary Phase Shift Keying (BPSK) using parity check code. This paper evaluates error estimation performance of these error detection codes in multi-hop communications under fading environments. As a result, the modified TPSK using AMI whose phases are 0, 135, -135[deg] is most proper for an error detection scheme of DetF.
