Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A new optical On-Off Keying (OOK) that can suppress to the infuluence of the background noise and the synchronization slip is proposed. Particularly, the differential coding scheme is introduced to suppress the infuluence of the background noise, and the synchronization signal is introduced to reduce the influence of the synchronization slip. In this paper, the Bit Error Rate (BER) performance of the proposed system in a complete synchronization state is analyzed by the taking into account the background noise and the scintillation in the optical wireless channel. As a result of theoritical analysis, the BER performance of the proposed system is better than that of the conventional OOK system when the background noise is -40[dBm] and the variance of scintillation is 0.01.
