Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this research, a method for automatic wireless network system configuration for closed local systems are presented. We use wireless LAN chips with both access point and station capability. By switching these roles dynamically, we realize automatic system configuration for three major wireless network situations (optimal setup, in-service optimization, and failure torelance) which need configuration. The proposed method optimizes selection of the AP with regard to radio link quality. On AP failure case, an alternative network is configured immediately with a new AP changed from an STA. The proposed method improves system reliability and reduces engineering cost.
