Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper evaluates transmission performance and power-saving effect of sensor collaborative beamforming by adaptive transmission in which beamforming and collaborative transmitting sensor selection are adaptively performed according to reception quality of a receiving sensor. In this method, beamforming is used only in retransmission. Transmission performance and power-saving effect are evaluated by computer simulation. The simulation results show that the Signal-to-Noise power Ratio (SNR) by adaptive sensor collaborative beamforming can be improved by 18.0 dB at the Cumulative Distribution Function (CDF) of 10^<-2>. Total power consumption of the beamforming with 3 collaborative sensor candidates can be decreased by 14 % even with the transmission phase error of 60° among collaborative transmitting sensors.
